主講簡介:朱建國教授1982年于江蘇理工學院獲學士學位,1987年于上海大學獲碩士學位,1995年于悉尼科技大學獲博士學位,專業均為電氣工程。澳大利亞悉尼大學教授,電子信息與工程學院院長,悉尼科技大學電機和電力電子中心杰出教授、主任。曾多次擔任COMPUMAG、ICEMS等知名國際會議主席。研究領域主要包括計算電磁學、材料磁性能的測量和建模、電子設備和驅動器、電力電子、可再生能源系統和智能微網。主持項目60余項,發表論文974篇,引用次數10782次,根據2019年4月谷歌學術搜索,h因子為50。在339篇期刊論文中,200余篇為各類IEEE Transactions期刊論文,50余篇為IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics或IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics期刊論文,2篇為IEEE Transactions最高等級論文。研究專長:計算電磁學、材料磁性能的測量和建模、電子設備和驅動器、電力電子、可再生能源系統和智能微網。

主講內容:Traditionally, when engineers design an equipment/appliance that contains one or more electromagnetic devices and systems, they would choose “suitable” products from the catalogs of commercial manufacturers. As the standard products are not designed for any specific applications, the functionality of equipment/appliance is limited by the performance and availability of commercial electromagnetic devices and systems. A better approach is to design the electromagnetic devices and systems specifically for the equipment/appliance simultaneously with the mechanical design. This requires a systematic approach including a good understanding and accurate modelling of material characteristics, ingenious intuition of topological design, precision and fast analyses of electromagnetic and often coupled multi-physical fields, electrical and electronic circuits, and control systems, advanced control methods and algorithms, rich data of material characteristics and prototype fabrication and testing, and design optimization strategies and algorithms.This research seminar series is composed to present a systematic approach to application oriented design of electromagnetic devices and systems based on the research work of Prof. Zhu and his CEMPE team of the last twenty eight years. It contains the eight chapters as the following:

3.Analyses of coupled multi-physical fields
4.Topology matters
5.Power electronic converters and control methods
6.Component and system level design optimization approaches
7.Robust design optimization for high quality manufacturing
8.Concluding remarks
